Overview
Majlis Perancangan Tenaga Manusia dan Pekerjaan (MPTMP) is a council under the Prime Minister's Office that was established in November 2019 as per consent of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

The objective of the council is to address unemployment related issues, effectively and efficiently. This includes constant collaborations with industries and education and training institution in increasing the employability of Bruneians.​

​"Berkaitan dengan Sumber Tenaga Manusia pula, Beta telah memperkenankan bagi Majlis Perancangan Tenaga Manusia dan Pekerjaan (MPTMP) ditempatkan di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, bagi memikirkan langkah-langkah berkesan ke arah meningkatkan peluang-peluang pekerjaan dan menangani isu pengangguran.


Dasar-dasar yang ada juga mustahak diteliti, misalnya, yang berkaitan dengan kemasukan pekerja-pekerja asing; halangan atau proses yang boleh menyekat komuniti business dari berkembang; mengadakan latihan-latihan bagi membantu pencari-pencari pekerjaan; mereview syllabus-syllabus yang berkaitan dengan program latihan; mereview proses mempercepatkan pengisian jawatan-jawatan kosong dalam perkhidmatan awam dan lain-lain."
